The New York Times described Holotropic Breathwork as “heart opening” and a way to heal yourself. The therapeutic benefits of Holotropic Breathwork can include release and healing of trauma, improving anxiety and depression, higher insights of spiritual understanding, increased connection to self and others, and opening to compassion and love.
We invite you to experience the remarkable healing potential and therapeutic benefits of Holotropic Breathwork®. Holotropic Breathwork™ a powerful breathwork practice that allows for self-exploration and healing. With the eyes closed and lying on a mat, each person uses their own breath and the music in the room to enter an expanded state of consciousness. This state activates the natural inner healing potential of the breather, or "inner healer", which guides the experience.
This workshop includes four Holotropic Breathwork sessions (two as a breather/two as a sitter), one shamanic journey (optional), healing sound journey, nature-based mask making, expressive movement (optional), evening fire gathering, mandala drawing, 3 nights housing, a talk on the history and practice of Holotropic Breathwork, 9 organic locally sourced vegan/vegetarian meals, connection, community and support.
This workshop is open to new or experienced breathers or anyone interested in experiencing Holotropic Breathwork. This workshop is approved by Grof Transpersonal Training and Grof Legacy Training to meet the breathwork requirements of the training. For anyone in a psychedelic-assisted therapy training program, this workshop may fulfill your requirement for sitting for others in expanded states of consciousness.
